It is a training course that is divided into a semester and has as its purpose the teaching of hyper-realistic oil technique. The paintings that will be created will be the creation of the pupils themselves, from the photographic shoot to the coloring, with the supervision of the teacher who will guide step by step the whole creative process.
The program of the Course is very articulated; we summarize the focal points. You will start from practical exercises until you get to the photo shoot as a support of the painting that will be performed during the lessons.
The drawing on the canvas: the use of graphite (practice), the use of graphite paper, the use of the projector (the use of pencils), traits, light and shadows) Use of brushes: The intention in the brushstroke, how to blend the color (scale of tones) Color theory: chromatic scale, tonal scale, Oswald’s star, Color temperature, Color mix, Saturation, Color vibration, use different types of colors (transparent – opaque – semitransparent – semi-opaque) The use of the personal computer: as a resource for chromatic interpretation in high definition – chromatic simulation of HDR screens – Amoled, Photoshop as an aid for chromatic interpretation, Tools for the determination of chromatic scales, The four-color process applied by the pc and reported in canvas, The chromatic scales Theoretical lessons supported by the practical action in canvas: Painting at the “Prima”, The use of white acrylic pre pigment, The chromatic vibration, Various methods for blending color, Opaque and glossy, The glazing, The sense of the material painted, Fat on fat, Fat on thin, The mixture of color, the drainage, the final paints, the bottom
ACCESS TO THE COURSE
To access the course it is not necessary any specific qualification but an orientation interview with vision of the drawings by the school organizers, without any commitment. It is recommended to be at least 17 years old (prior to interview with parents).
PROFESSIONAL GOALS
Painters, Portraitists, Draftsmen. The Artist will be able to work on his own by acquiring works with Private (eg, Portraits) rather than in Galleries (worldwide) or use of paintings in Cinema / Set-ups, etc …
